ALI RIZVI
Co-Founder
Hi guys, my name is Ali Rizvi, and I Co-Founded The COVID Tutors with my friend Tejes. I am a sophomore student at the University of Houston pursuing a Biochemistry degree. During COVID-19 the transition to online learning for high school students has been tough. My experience in teaching at various tutoring agencies and a passion for teaching in general, has driven me to create a program where college students can help and advise high school students given their recent experience in given fields. Through this program, we feel that we can use our wide range of expertise to make a difference in the world and transform online learning as we know it!
TEJES SRIVASTAVA

Hi guys, my name is Tejes Srivastava, and I am a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin. I am interested in going into the sustainable development or green technology/energy fields. I have been teaching kids for a few years now, initially starting with a few individual lessons in both math and chess. Ali and I decided to found this program to help students in need during a pandemic that could change learning forever. We seek to give back to our community in the best way possible, education. Through the COVID Tutors we want to provide help as many students as we can. I am very excited to meet all of you!
